5G® - Drop-down installation

As the floorboards fall straight down, the flexible plastic strip (tongue) is pushed into the tongue groove. When the floorboards reach their final position, the tongue snaps into the wedge-shaped groove (tongue groove) with a “click” sound, locking the product horizontally and vertically.

LVT/WPC/SPC solutions

Both 2G and 5G® Locks are optimized for use in resilient floor coverings and thinner products. The 2G folding locking buckle type can be used for floor products with a minimum thickness of 3 mm, and the 5G drop-down system can be used with floor products with a minimum thickness of 4 mm.

When the floor is installed straight down, due to the guidance of the two floor introduction surfaces, the locking part of the tongue and groove board is pushed down smoothly. Once in place, the locking part will rebound and lock the straight down floor perfectly.
